If you live or work anywhere in Perth's inner north, the studio is right on your doorstep.

Plenty of my regulars happily drive well over an hour to be here, so if you're further out, you're just as welcome — this page is simply for anyone nearby who's been wondering how close it actually is.

Where the studio is

The Inner Blooming is a small, private home studio in Inglewood, open Friday to Sunday by appointment. It isn't a clinic with a waiting room and a receptionist; it's one quiet room, one person at a time, with a long buffer either side so nobody is ever rushed through.

The exact address comes with your booking confirmation. Parking is straightforward too, which is a small kindness at the end of a full week.

Suburbs it's an easy trip from

Inglewood sits in the middle of Perth's inner north, so the studio is a short drive for:

• Mount Lawley, Highgate, Menora and Coolbinia — five to ten minutes.
• Maylands, Bayswater, Bedford and Embleton — ten minutes or so.
• Dianella, Yokine, Morley and Noranda — a straightforward run across.
• Mount Hawthorn, North Perth and Leederville — an easy trip west.
• Perth CBD and East Perth — around fifteen minutes outside peak.

Weekend appointments mean you can come after a slow morning rather than carving a hole in a workday — which, for the people I tend to see, is the difference between booking and meaning to book.

• Reiki & energy healing — Alignment, one hour, A$111. Hands-on Reiki with chakra balancing, crystals and essential oils. Where most people start.
• Sound healing — crystal singing bowls and instruments played live around you. Solo, or side by side for two.
• Intuitive massage — slow ritual massage for face, head, neck, shoulders and hands, melting into live sound.
• PSYCH-K — subconscious belief work for the patterns that insight alone hasn't shifted.

Who tends to find their way here

Not, on the whole, people looking for something mystical. Mostly professionals, business owners and mothers from around the inner north whose minds don't switch off — people who are good at holding everything and quietly tired of it.

You don't have to be spiritual to need an hour where nothing is asked of you.

Scepticism is genuinely welcome. I hold a BSc in Psychology and I was the doubtful one once myself.

Why local actually helps

A settled nervous system doesn't love a long drive home, so if you're close by, that's one less thing standing between you and the calm lasting a little longer — there's a nice difference between floating out of a session into a ten-minute run back to your own kitchen, and getting straight onto the freeway.

That said, plenty of my regulars drive well over an hour and come back again and again — the session works just the same either way. Being nearby is simply a lovely bonus if it happens to be true for you.
